A Day in the Gardens is an annual fundraising event for the Botanical Gardens, with all proceeds going to the garden's maintenance. Set in one of Tasmania's most picturesque venues with award-winning Australian artists this annual fundraising event is the perfect way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon. This is a licensed event, ID required at all times. Children are welcome but all underage people must be accompanied by an adult. No BYO, chairs, bottles or cans. Tickets available online

2. Oliver!, the ever-popular musical arrives in Burnie!
Burnie Musical Society Inc presents Oliver!, the well-known musical based on the story of 'Oliver Twist", written by Charles Dickens.
Filled with a string of wonderful, memorable songs, "OLIVER!" established a long-running record for a musical in the West End (London) and became one of the great family musicals of the post-war era.

3. THIS SATURDAY The Wynyard Agricultural Show is one of Tasmania's oldest annual agricultural shows. Still retaining its classic country feel, the Wynyard Agricultural Show is held every year in March in the Wynyard Showground. The day presents a great program of events and entertainment for the whole family. Come and see the animals, watch the horses and the sheep dog trials, or marvel at the strength of the axemen in the wood chop area.There will be some great exhibits and stalls, showcasing the talents of local artists with their arts and crafts, as well as home and lifestyle displays.
