A female driver is in custody after being intercepted by police at Wesley Vale.
The woman behind the wheel of a white Corolla fled from a patrol car on Sunday afternoon, after police attempted to pull her over for a random breath test at Spreyton.
Road spikes failed to stop the motorist, and authorities did not give chase due to concerns for other road users.

The driver was apprehended along Mill Road around eight o’clock last night as a result of a public tip off on the vehicles where-abouts.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
