Soroptimist Awards 2026 – Circular Head
Soroptimist International of Circular Head wish to acknowledge the unsung heroines who inspire others by their contribution to our local community or to specific sections of our community.
We are not necessarily looking for the woman who performs the most community service or who fills the high-profile roles – we are looking for the women of any age or background who are continually putting in effort and often for little thanks or recognition.
Another reason for nominating a special person is when a woman has overcome difficult circumstances and rebuilt their own life in some way. Not all women fall into this category, but those who do, provide great inspiration for others.
Soroptimist International is a women’s organisation whose mission is to inspire action and create opportunities to transform the lives of women and girls through a global network of members and international partnerships.
For this event we are partnered by the Circular Head Council to provide a celebration evening to be held on Friday 21st August 2026 in the Hall of Fame at the Circular Head Recreation Centre in Nelson St, Smithton.
Nominations will be reviewed by a selection panel and successful nominees will be recognised at the celebration evening.
Please take this opportunity to nominate someone and show them that their contribution is very much appreciated.
Only one nominee is permitted per person or organisation per year.
Hard copy nomination forms are available from reception at Circular Head Council or Smithton Library.
