occasion, the developer has finally revealed the official title for its highly anticipated fantasy sequel: The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel.

The announcement came alongside a heartfelt video message from Todd Howard. He took a moment to reflect on the studio’s 40-year journey, transforming from a small team in Maryland into one of the most recognised names in gaming.

Bethesda’s history is packed with ambitious leaps. While most modern gamers know them for the snowy peaks of Skyrim (which remains their most played game) or the vast galaxies of Starfield, the studio’s roots go back to sports titles like Gridiron in 1986. Over the decades, games like Morrowind and Fallout 3 cemented their reputation for building worlds that offer players incredible freedom. Now, all eyes are on Sentinel to see how they push the boundaries next.
