School of Special Education North West Masquerade Ball - Held at the newly refurbished Burnie Central Town House. Tickets $60 includes a free drink on arrival , supper and entertainment. Dress code – After five. Tickets available from School of Special Education, Beauy's Bottleshop or Burnie Central Town House.

SUNDAY 11TH NOVEMBER
The Centenary of Armistice – Remembrance Day Service November 11 - marks the 100th anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War (1914–1918) following the service a Poppy Sculpture will be unveiled in honour of the World War One veterans from Circular Head. Starts at 10.30 ANCAZ Park Smithton.

Montezuma Falls Guided Walk – View this magnificent waterfall of 104 metres drop in two stages surrounded by West Coast rainforest. Three hour return walk on the formation of the North East Dundas tramway, along the Ring river valley to the base of the falls. It is a very gentle gradient suitable for all ages. Bring lunch, cameras, wet weather gear and botany guides. Meet 8am outside the Wynyard Bus Lines depot corner of Bass Highway and York Street, Wynyard, or the old Somerset railway station area at 8.15am, or the penguin viewing centre West Park Burnie at 8.30am. Private vehicles only. Club members of Burnie Field Naturalist  are free, adult visitors $5, children free, all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Not Lost Just Curious Cancer Research Fundraiser – Local rally team ‘Not Fast Just Furious’ are holding a car navigation rally to help raise much needed funds for cancer research. Swap Meet & Boot Sale – The small ford owners group of Tasmania are holding this event, for any inquiries call Allan on 0407 782 740. Swap meet & Stall Holders $5 - $10 per stall. Free Car Display. All makes and models welcome. Boot Sale included. Free entry. Bring the children to look at the old cars. Coffee van and BBQ will be available. Held at the Burnie High School Car Park. 9am – 2pm.

SATURDAY 24TH NOVEMBER
Flea Market - Wynyard Uniting Church will be hosting a Flea Market at the Uniting Church hall in Dodgin Street, Wynyard. 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. come look at our great range of home cooking, produce, jams and sauces. Browse through the garage sale for a bargain. Private stall holders will add to the variety with crafts, sewing, books etc. Good selection of garden plants, always in demand. Devonshire teas and a Barbeque will provide light refreshments. Come along and enjoy the fun market, everyone is welcome.
