Circular Head Agricultural Show
The 113th Circular Head Show with traditional areas like wood chopping (including a State Title and tree felling), equestrian, animal nursery, cattle and home industries competitions as well as many attractions and displays. The Exhibition Hall displaying the entries in the various areas including from local Schools is always amazing. Come along for a fun family day with sheep dog, shearing and blacksmith demonstrations and Eddie Freeman, the chainsaw sculpture. See the Edith Creek bullock team and have a ride on a wagon pulled by Almost Heavenly Clydesdales. There will be a model steam engine, reptile, bird, goat and poultry displays including Majick Feathers, an interactive parrot display; live entertainment with singer Rino Morea, Burnie Highland Pipe Band, music organs and the popular Dog High Jump at 1pm. The Opening of the Show will be at 12 noon followed by the Country Showgirl and Boy competition with the day culminating with the Grand Parade at 3pm. There will be agricultural displays, food and craft stalls and sideshows. A luncheon will also be available. Lots to see and do all day.
