Penguin History Group Annual Exhibition

Over recent months, some members of the Penguin History Group, have been involved digitising the extensive photographic collection of the Penguin Surf Lifesaving Club, some 1600 photos in total. The photos date from the club’s inception, in 1931, through to the present day and reflect many significant changes.

With access to such an extensive resource, the PHG has focused on the PSLSC for its annual exhibition. This will be on show at the Penguin Railway Station and will incorporate several items of memorabilia.

The exhibition will be open for the remainder of the years, at the normal operating times:

Monday’s 2pm to 4pm, Wednesday’s 10am to 12 noon and Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 8pm, or by special appointment. For special appointments, contact Craig on 0418 559 224.

A 2027 calendar featuring a selection of Surf Club photos, will be available for purchase for just $10 each.
