The Burnie Nepalese Community Inc present the Grace Dashain Dhamaka 2083

The Grace Dashain Dhamaka 2083, is one of the largest Nepalese cultural celebrations on Tasmanian’s North West Coast.

Dashain is the greatest and most significant festival celebrated by Nepalese people worldwide, symbolising family reunion, gratitude, cultural heritage, and the triumph of good over evil. Through this event, we are proud to share Nepalese traditions with the wider Tasmanian community while promoting multicultural inclusion and community connection.

The event will feature:

  • Traditional Nepalese cultural performances
  • Live performances by renowned Nepalese artists
  • Authentic Nepalese buffet showcasing traditional flavours, including Sel Roti, Masu, Palau and other cultural delicacies
  • Community cultural displays and traditional Dashain celebrations
  • Attendance by Tasmanian Government Ministers, Members of Parliament from both Government and Opposition, local councillors, multicultural leaders, and community representatives

This is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the growing Nepalese community in North West Tasmania and showcase how cultural diversity continues to enrich our region.
