Young Story Seekers at Burnie Library (Junior) and Board Gamers

Young Story Seekers Junior is a fortnightly session aimed at 8-11 year olds.

The perfect way for young readers to discover the library collection through fun and creative activities. 📚🔍🚀

Become a book detective, discover the Dewey Decimal System, book hunts, and games.

Writing and craft activities: Create shelf talkers, placeholders, bookmarks and other craft activities.

Talk about what you are reading or get help on deciding what your next reading adventure will be.

Board Gamers – Held at the same time participants can enjoy favourites or learn a new game.

Older kids or those wanting a bit more of a challenge can come to the session on the opposite week, aimed at 11-14 year olds. Bookings preferred but not necessary.

Children’s University participants welcome and will receive a stamp in their passport for attending.
