An injured bushwalker was airlifted from Mount Roland on Saturday.
Police say they received a call shortly after midday from the walker, with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter dispatched to the scene.
The walker was quickly located and transported to safety.
No other details have been provided.
The Mount Roland incident was one of three rescues on Saturday, with a party of walkers had become lost on the Frenchman’s Cap Track on the West Coast, who were located around 9.50 am and transported to safety.
Meanwhile, a walker who suffered a lower leg injury near Scotts Peak Dam in the South-West was located by the helicopter and evacuated to the Royal Hobart Hospital for treatment.
