Australia’s second and Tasmania’s first Community Hub @ Post centre has opened in the former Burnie Post office.
The site has been extensively renovated and transformed to a refreshed and contemporary retail space.
Australia Post executive general manager of retail, brand and marketing Josh Bannister says the nature of post offices in Australia has changed and the Hub @ Post concept is aimed at ensuring people living in regional Australia have access to the same services as bigger centres.
