North-West Coasters wanting to get a better understanding of the upcoming Indigenous Voice to Parliament referendum will be able to do so at two community forums at Smithton and Latrobe on Tuesday.
The forums are being hosted by Assistant Shadow Minister for Indigenous Affairs, Braddon Federal MP Gavin Pearce, at the Circular Head Community and Recreation Centre from 2-3.30 pm and the Latrobe Speedway Function Centre between 6.30 and 8 pm
Speakers will include Federal Shadow Minister for Indigenous Affairs, Senator Jacinta Price and chair of the Circular Head Aboriginal Corporation, Selina Maguire-Colgrave.
The speakers will give their perspectives on the referendum, to be followed by a question and answer session.
