Reigning Darrel Baldock medallist Bailey Boag has been selected in the Tasmanian team to play Queensland in Saturday’s interstate football clash.

Boag, of Burnie, is the only NWFL player to make the final cut, with the remainder of the side chosen from Tasmanian State League teams, with no-one from the Launceston-based NTFA competition being selected.

Former Devonport coach Kurt Byard, who also recently coached the NWFL men’s team to a win over the Southern Football League, has been appointed an assistant to state head coach Aaron Corneluis.
