A police constable from Tasmania’s south has been charged with burglary and stealing and common assault over events allegedly unfolding this morning.
The 39 year old was off duty at the time, has been stood down and will appear in the Hobart Magistrates on August 10th.
The arrest and charges arose from an investigation by Tasmania Police’s Professional Standards Command.
