Some of Australia’s top road cyclists could be seen in action in the North-West early next year in the Tour of Tasmania.
The event, which will be based in Devonport, has shifted from its traditional November time slot to a February date.
The tour has also been condensed to a three-day event for men and women, starting with a twilight criterium street stage in Devonport.
Day Two will include a 118km road stage in and around Sheffield and a twilight 4.5km twilight individual time trial on River Road between Latrobe and East Devonport.
The final day will involve a road stage from Deloraine to the Liffey Falls turn-off on the Great Lakes Highway.
The traditional mountain stages using Poatina and Gunns Plains have been dropped from the tour for the 2025 edition.
