Hettie Adams' latest honour
Millions of eyes and ears will be on a young Tasmanian chosen to perform the national anthem at the Collingwood / Essendon Anzac Day match.
Former cornet player for the Glenorchy Brass Band, Hettie Adams has gone onto forge an impressive big event singing resume such as the Dawn Service at Gallipoli and the Queen's 90th birthday.
Hettie reckons the Anzac AFL match has been on her wish list for a while.
"Definitely nerve wracking because you always want to make sure that you give everythig your best shot, but I've done a couple of pretty big gigs now so I think I know how to prepare pretty well and just adapt with everything on the day, I think am more excited and more honoured than nervous at the moment."
The 25 year old will also do the anthem singing honours at Saturday night's Melbourne / Richmond game.
