Another institutional child sex abuse claim
A child sex abuse allegation has led to the 15th Tasmanian State Service employee to be stood down since October.
It raises the south's share of that total to 3, while the other 12 pertain to the north.
Only yesterday (Thursday), the state's Commission of Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse in Government Institutions began actively seeking submissions.
Commissioner Marcia Neave is preparing for a lot of work.
"We obviously have a to investigate and examine and work out what's happened and we have been helped a lot by the media, but of course we have to make our own inquiries, our Inquiry is of course independent from government."
One of the key cases is of a now deceased male nurse accused of paedophile crimes at Launceston General Hospital.
