Bryan Adams brings his Bare Bones acoustic show to MyState Bank Arena in Hobart on March 18th 2027. Tickets go on sale soon: Thu 22 Oct 2026 12:00PM (AEDT)
Canadian rock icon and multi-award winner Bryan Adams is heading to Tasmania for a special intimate performance. MyState Bank Arena announced his acclaimed Bare Bones acoustic show this morning.
It is billed as one of the first Bare Bones outings in the region in more than 15 years, giving local fans a rare up-close experience with the Grammy- and Academy Award-winning songwriter.
Bare Bones strips Adams’ catalogue back to its essence: primarily his voice, acoustic guitar, and longtime collaborator Gary Breit on piano (with occasional harmonica).
Fans can expect reimagined versions of signature hits including Summer of ’69, Heaven, and (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, along with other favourites from across his decades-long career. The format has long been praised for revealing fresh nuances in familiar tracks and creating a more personal atmosphere than his standard arena shows.
This Hobart date sits outside Adams’ main 2027 Australian and New Zealand Roll With the Punches arena tour (which features Natalie Imbruglia and plays larger mainland cities earlier in March).
It offers Tasmania a distinct, scaled-down alternative.
Check the official MyState Bank Arena website or ticket outlets for purchasing details, as demand for these limited-run shows is typically strong.
Adams, known for chart-topping hits in dozens of countries, a Broadway musical contribution (Pretty Woman), and touring energy into his late 60s, continues to draw multi-generational crowds. For Hobart fans who missed the full-band arena dates on the mainland or prefer the stripped-back approach, this is a standout opportunity.
Mark your calendar, get ready for tickets this Friday, and don’t miss your chance to hear a rock legend up close and personal in Tasmania.
