Is This The New James Bond?

The wait for the next James Bond might finally be coming to an end.

Hollywood heavyweight Gary Oldman has claimed the actor who will replace Daniel Craig as 007 has already been chosen.

The only problem? We still don’t know who it is.

Oldman, who stars alongside Jack Lowden in Slow Horses, was asked about rumours linking his co-star to the iconic role.

His response? He claims producers have already “picked him” and added that his “fingers are crossed” for Lowden.

The Bond Guessing Game

Since Daniel Craig’s final Bond film No Time To Die hit cinemas in 2021, fans have been throwing names around, including Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Henry Cavill and James Norton.

Lowden has also been among the favourites, and his role in Slow Horses has already given him plenty of spy experience.

So, Is It Lowden?

Not so fast.

There is still no official confirmation that Lowden is the new 007.

But with a new Bond film in the works, directed by Denis Villeneuve, Oldman’s comments have certainly made things interesting.
