We all need to cut loose on holiday sometimes don’t we.
The Bob Odenkirk action film sleeper hit returns with Nobody 2. Back in 2021, Bob Odenkirk starred in a relatively out of nowhere action flick named Nobody. The film garnered a cult following with its strong action sequences, fun plot, and by turning the extremely unlikely Bob Odenkirk (yes that’s right, Saul Goodman from Breaking Bad) into a kick-ass action hero. But not just Odenkirk, it also featured Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown from Back to the Future) into a one too. It had no right being that good.
Well the adult Home Alone like action flick is finally getting its well deserved sequel, and this time it’s taking our average everyman dad, Hutch Mansell, on holiday. Sadly though, the relaxation is short lived when Hutch comes across a criminal empire whilst holidaying. You can read the synopsis below:
Suburban dad Hutch Mansell, a former lethal assassin, is pulled back into his violent past after thwarting a home invasion, setting off a chain of events that unravels secrets about his wife Becca’s past and his own.
The film was praised for breaking off from the trends of remakes, reboots, and sequels trend and attempted to do something unique and just down right fun. You can catch the trailer for the film below:
The sequel will star returning cast members Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, and Christopher Lloyd, but will also feature Sharon Stone as the criminal mastermind.
You can catch Nobody 2 when it drops in cinemas later this year on August 15th.
