Bottoms Up for prostate cancer awareness – Help Brian Britt raise funds for Tasmania to employ another prostate cancer nurse. Burnie Yacht Club 7-12pm, music by cool train 7.30-10.30pm, canapes and live music. $20 entry (cash only). Lucky door prize and auction.


Fairy Godmothers Information Session – Are you interested to learn more about and being a part of the organisation? Come along the their information session at the Cooee Primary School Hall on Sunday 21st July 2pm – 4pm. RSVP to 0417 380 268

Hellyer Community Choir with Cradle Coast Orchestra – will hold a performance ‘ on Sunday 21st July at the Uniting Hall Church in Burnie. Both will commence at 2pm, entry by donation

Christmas in July - The Walkie Talkies are at it again with their second fundraiser for the season.  Christmas in July, it’s never too early to celebrate. With Traditional Roast Meats and all the Delicious Trimmings you could wish for, PLUS Pudding or Pavlova for Dessert. Bookings Essential either through

Wynyard Gymnastics Lion King Movie Screening - We are hosting a fundraiser at Metro Cinemas to watch the new Lion King movie. We are selling tickets for adults for $15 and children $12 and small popcorn and coke $7. We also have a great raffle for $1 a ticket. All money raised will go back to the club to buy new uneven bars and maintaining gym running costs. Please get behind this fundraiser, take the family, work mates, school friends to the movies before the start of term 3.
